Oceans never rest. Waves, currents, and wind act as couriers, casting debris to the
beach and then reclaiming it. Shipwrecks, coastal dumpsites, and foul weather
contribute fragments of broken glass and pottery. During the chaotic voyage, the ocean
sculpts the imperfect, jagged edges and adds its own signature of subtly pocked
surfaces, resulting in what is commonly known as sea glass.
